40μm 70μm 100μm Cell Strainer Nylon Mesh for Cell Separation FACS


Cell Strainers are intended as a fast, easy and simple alternative to traditional filtration when dissociating stem cells and other tissue-derived primary cells. The exclusive pestle design improves manipulation of material in the strainer during operation. They yield consistently uniform single-cell suspensions that are ideal for preparation of samples for flow cytometry, Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS), and other applications related to cell separation.


Share Filters' cell strainers are manufactured from precise nylon mesh with evenly spaced mesh pores and popypropylene(PP) surport cage. Available in 40 µm, 70 µm, and 100 µm color-coded mesh variants. Cell strainers are often sterilized before use to prevent contamination of cell cultures. Cell strainers can be pre-sterilized and individually packaged, while others may be sterilized in bulk.

Mesh openings can vary from 3 micron to 4400 microns, giving these mesh filter fabrics the versatility to be used in many different liquid-solid separation processes.

Depending on the required edge quality, different fabrication methods are available such as laser, heat , sonic or cold sectioning. With our heat and ultrasonic cutting technologies, we can create tubes equipped with one or two functional seams, which provide the necessary seam strength. These pre cut tubes are convenient for injection moulding. The ultrasonic welded tubes with one overlapping weld has more strength.
